Personalized 1:1 Coaching

Our mental performance coaching sessions are highly personalized, focusing on your unique goals, challenges, and strengths to ensure a tailored approach. You’ll engage in real-time, collaborative conversations, receiving immediate feedback and building a strong coach-athlete relationship. Together, we’ll dive deep into refining your mindset and applying strategies specific to your sport or situation, with regular sessions providing structure, accountability, and personalized follow-ups to track your progress. As you grow, sessions adapt to your evolving needs, creating a dynamic and transformative journey that helps build confidence in sports.

Online Self-Paced Course

This self-paced program offers short daily lessons that fit seamlessly into a busy athlete’s schedule, featuring a guided 60-lesson curriculum covering key sport psychology concepts. Through daily journaling prompts, you’ll reflect on your thoughts, track progress, and build consistent habits while gaining a foundational understanding of mental performance strategies. All of these strategies are beneficial to overall athlete growth and helping to build confidence in sports. Ideal for independent learners, this program empowers you to integrate lessons into your routine without the need for direct guidance.

How Our 1:1 Coaching Process Works

Step 1: Call

Schedule a free consultation call with a coach to explain your background, strengths, goals, and how you would like to improve your mindset.

Step 2: Choose

Create your personalized coaching plan with your coach and choose if you want to pay-as-you-go or book a package of sessions (4, 8, or 12).

Step 3: Book

Book your sessions one at a time or in advance. Meetings are booked for 45 minutes, are all on ZOOM, and can be spaced out as needed.

Step 4: Create

Athletes can use our MyMindset App or a self-chosen method for daily growth mindset habits that include gratitude, goals, reflection, and positive wins.

Step 5: Apply

Athletes will develop and regularly implement a personalized mental performance routine equipped with strategies based in sport psychology.

Step 6: Evaluate

Regular progress monitoring occurs between the coach and athlete to determine growth, goal assessment, and next steps for coaching.

*Any athlete under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian with them during the free consultation call. 

A Web-Based App to Help Build Confidence in Sports

MyMindset is a web-based app that you can access from your desktop or on your mobile phone. You are able to download the app onto the home screen of your mobile phone.

Athletes will learn how to create habits by enabling push notifications on their mobile device, setting alarms and reminders for themselves, or using our texting feature to send regular text message reminders (must opt-in to this feature).

Morning Mindset

Writing down a daily goal or intention and expressing gratitude in the morning is a powerful practice for athletes. Setting a clear goal helps focus your energy and provides direction, ensuring that your efforts align with your larger objectives. It fosters accountability and motivation, acting as a mental cue to stay disciplined throughout the day. Gratitude shifts your mindset to positivity, reducing stress and enhancing resilience by helping you appreciate the journey and not just the results. Together, these practices create a strong mental foundation, promoting clarity, confidence, and a sense of purpose in both training and competition.

Nighttime Reflection

Reflecting on your daily goal or intention and acknowledging two positive wins each night is essential for athletes. This practice reinforces a growth mindset by focusing on progress and celebrating small successes, boosting confidence and motivation. It encourages accountability by evaluating how well you aligned your actions with your intentions, helping you identify areas for improvement. Recognizing positive wins fosters a sense of accomplishment, even on challenging days, promoting a balanced perspective. This nightly reflection builds self-awareness and mental resilience, preparing you to approach the next day with renewed focus and determination.

Daily Journaling

Daily journaling is a valuable tool for athletes, offering numerous mental and performance benefits. It helps build self-awareness by encouraging you to reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and actions, enabling you to understand patterns that affect your performance. Journaling provides a space to set clear goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones, reinforcing a sense of achievement and direction. It also allows you to process challenges constructively, reducing stress and fostering a problem-solving mindset. Daily journaling can strengthen mental resilience by helping you reframe setbacks as opportunities for growth while reinforcing positive habits.

With over two decades of experience as a competitive athlete and a college head women’s soccer coach, I combine my practical insights with advanced expertise in sport psychology and school counseling, supported by two master’s degrees. I’ve successfully worked with athletes ages 7 to 65 across various sports and levels.

In short, it depends on the athlete. Mental performance coaching, based on a sports psychology approach, provides valuable, holistic support to help athletes succeed. It all starts with individual sessions for the athlete and coach so that trust can be established in a confidential atmosphere – allowing both parties to create genuine connections through honest conversations. Ultimately, parent involvement is up to the consultant, athlete, and guardian’s discretion as they understand what level of participation will benefit them most on their journey toward success!

Absolutely not. we work with all athletes across a range of athletic sports, ages, and levels. All that we ask is that you are willing to put in the time & effort to strengthen your mental game!

Firstly, during the first meeting, an experienced coach will take the time to get acquainted with you and your athlete. Expect questions about goals, aspirations, and objectives – plus answers for any burning queries raised by parents or players alike! This is a crucial moment for everyone involved to determine how best they can work together toward achieving outstanding results.

To make your journey successful, let’s become acquainted with each other and discover the objectives that will be key to your success. Our discovery consultation is designed for just this purpose! The first discovery call is FREE.

We suggest a consistent approach with 8-12 sessions to get the most out of mental performance coaching, based on sports psychology. This will ensure time to review and practice the strategies, so athletes make lasting changes in their game. After that period ends, athletes may continue working with a coach regularly – weekly, biweekly, or monthly – for sustained success!
